Blurrt have just returned from a hectic couple of weeks spent at two fantastic, but very different, events over the pond in the US.
Collision Conference in New Orleans was 3 packed days of everything tech; with 20,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, including CEOs of both the world’s fastest growing startups and the world’s largest companies, alongside leading investors and media.
Blurrt exhibited in the Beta section of the event – an area that showcased 20 companies who had progressed past the start-up phase, but were looking to take their next big step.
We also took part in Collision’s PITCH competition, where Blurrt’s co-founder Nick, gave a 4 minute whirlwind tour of everything Blurrt, before then answering a panel’s tough questions.
The days (and nights thanks to some well organised networking events) were filled with meeting lots of potential investors, clients and integration partners, as well as other start-ups interested in learning about Blurrt’s innovative tech.
NAB Show, the National Association of Broadcasters, brought over 100,000 attendees to Las Vegas to attend the world’s largest annual convention encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase our integration work with broadcast graphics partner VizRT, as well as learn about what other social media broadcast options are around whilst meeting with other potential partners and clients.
These two events were not only incredibly productive in regards to Blurrt moving forward with new clients and partners, but also massively reaffirming that there is a very clear need for the insights and analysis that Blurrt can generate from social media.
From what we saw, there are very few, if any at all, other companies providing the same level of insights that are possible from within Blurrt, yet to mention being able to gauge mood and provide advanced audience segmentation demographics!
